John Harold Germain PARSONS

John, who attended the College twice (R19-22 and 25-29), died on 27th September 2002, aged 91. John was a prefect and played in the Rugby XV. He was captain of Athletics in 1929 and obtained O.T.C. certificate. He became a solicitor, admitted in June 1935 with Messrs. Blaker and Peters, Chichester and was Commissioner for Oaths, Deputy Registrar, Chichester, Arundel and Petworth County Courts, Member of the Law Society, and the Sussex Law Society. He served in the Second World War, in the Royal Artillery, as a Captain in the United Kingdom and Holland, and was a member of the Royal Artillery Association.
