William Allan PHIMESTER

On 12th October 2002, aged 81. Allan was a master at the College from 1943 to 1945 and taught Geography, was a Commander of the JTC and an active member of the Debating Society. In 1946 Allan moved to Mill Hill School where he served for the rest of his life. There he was housemaster for 14 years and became acting Headmaster from 1978 to 1979. The funeral service was held at St Paul', Mill Hill on 18th October where the College, the Governors and the Society were represented by James Ruddock. Also present was Allan's son-in-law, Keith Abbott (S59-67).
