Website Team
The site is maintained by a team of volunteers (see below). If you’d like to offer help to the team, and perhaps become one of them on a permanent basis, please do get in touch. There’s always more to do than the resources available.
Current members of the team
Chris Essex
Admin
Chris has been a member of the Admin team for at least 20 years! His contributions to the features of the website and to developing and maintaining contact with Framlinghamians all around the world, have been enormous. The Distinguished OFs section was entirely his creation, and he researched and identified almost all of those Framlinghamians within it. He’s also been responsible for the Overseas Bag, for at least the last decade. Last, but by no means least, he’s been a vital member of the team that delivered this website.
Tim Mitchell
Admin
Tim has been a member of the Admin team for at least 20 years! With his business background in IT Consultancy, his skills have provided the Admin team with vital expertise, and his ability to network within the IT and Web community has ensured that, when external support was needed, it was the right sort of support and at an affordable cost. Last, and by no means least, he’s been a vital member of the team that delivered this website.
Kate Jackson
Admin
Kate’s role, as OF Co-ordinator with a base at the College, means that she’s ideally placed to welcome new and “lost” Framlinghamians, and help them towards active involvement with the Society. As a member of the Admin team, she ensures that contact details are recorded and updated. She is also in close liaison with the College’s Marketing and Development teams, and makes sure that we all know what everyone else is trying to achieve.
Peter Howard-Dobson
Admin
Like Chris and Tim, Peter has been a member of the website admin team for at least 20 years. His background was in telecommunications and IT, though it’s a very long time since he was last involved in anything technical. He has a strong leaning towards inter-personal communications, and making technology work to enable people to create and maintain communities.
He consulted widely with Framlinghamians across the generations before producing a Design Brief for the new Website, and was a key member of the team that delivered it.
