OF Golf Society – The Dick Watson Trophy

Further info. on this event. Each player plays with a team member once. There are three rounds, Saturday am Saturday pm and Sunday am. The two schools with the best stableford score play for the trophy on Sunday am, the next two play each other for a small wager and so on. There is usually a dinner in the clubhouse on Saturday evening. The stableford scoring is on handicap.

We won the trophy in 2016, 2017, 2018 & 2019. The 2020 tournament was cancelled due to Covid. We narrowly missed reaching the final in 2021.

There are usually 12-15 schools (mostly Halford Hewitt) taking part.
