Death of SOF Vice President

We are sad to announce the death of Michael Powlesland (R40-45), who died peacefully at home on 15 November 2024 aged 95. He and his 3 brothers all went to the College.  He was a Vice President of the Society, a former Norfolk Supper organiser and regular attendee until very recently and a longstanding member of the OF Golf Society.

The funeral service will take place at St. Peter’s Church, Strumpshaw on Thursday 19 December 2024 at 12.30 p.m. Family flowers only please but donations, if desired, will go to St. Peter’s Church, Strumpshaw (made payable to Strumpshaw PCC) c/o Gedge & Sons, Independent Family Funeral Directors, Garden Road, Blofield, Norwich, NR13 4JL. 01603 712276.
