Distinguished OF Nigel Parsons (R64-76) has published a third book in March 2025, following previous success with two earlier books – 1) “Manouche – Living with the Gypsies of France” and 2) “Three Lives”.
A young man leaves behind a failed marriage and a grim London winter in the late 1970s to seek his fortune in the Amazon. He finds his slice of paradise, only to have it brutally snatched away and is forced to go on the run. His subsequent travels take him through South America, Africa and Australia as he searches for some meaning to his life and the point of it all, only to discover the answer much closer to home and in the most unexpected way after returning to the UK.
