"The format of scratch foursomes, off the back tees on an even longer course than normal, is quite a challenge. This was made even more difficult by the very strong wind, which made good scoring extremely difficult.
Hopefully the team will be able to build on their success at the Hewitt this year and reach the qualifying stages of the Grafton next year. The team were grateful for the support of Norman & Virginia Porter and Martin Lamb who did their best to cheer them on."
