On Friday 30 June Andrew Fane stood down as Chairman of the governing body of the College after 17 years and the Society took the opportunity to present him with a plaque in recognition of his enormous contribution to the College and the Society. After Speech Day a small gathering attended as the President, John Ellerby presented Andrew with the plaque which read as follows: “With warm appreciation of your exceptional contribution to the success of Framlingham College under your chairmanship of the Governing Body 2001-2017”. The occasion was witnessed by John Edwards, John Thurlow, Richard Overend, Chris Keeble, Simon Dougherty, Norman Porter, Richard Sayer, Robert Mayhew, Jim Blythe, Peter Howard-Dobson.
