Captain Augustus Willington Shelton Agar VC DSO (1902-1903)

Story CAPTAINAUGUSTUSGUSWILLINGTONSHELTONAGARVCDSORN1902-03

Awarded VC for attack on Russian navy in June 1919 at Kronstadt, Russia. Went on to write a number of books on his Navy experiences. Died in 1968. Click here to listen to Augustus Agar VC describing the heroic exploits that won him the VC.
