David Hugh Hodge BEM (Stradbroke 1944-1950)

On 17 June 2017 David was awarded the British Empire Medal for services to the community in Cockfield, Suffolk.

He died peacefully at home (in the house in which he was born – Cockefield Hall) on 6th February, 2025, after many years of frustrating ill health.
