His Honour Judge Rupert Simon Overbury (Stradbroke 1971-1976)
He was called to the Bar in 1984 and was appointed a Recorder on the South Eastern Circuit in 2003. On 29 October 2007 it was announced that he was to become a Circuit Judge on the South Eastern Circuit, based at Basildon Combined Court Centre, with effect from 13 November 2007.
