Lt Col Robert Lynn Stevens OBE (Stradbroke 1951-1955)
Late of the Duke of Wellington’s Regiment (West Riding), he was awarded an MBE in June 1972 for his role in withdrawing British troops from Malta on the orders of Mintoff. In June 1987 we was awarded an OBE for his work on the development of a computer based system to interconnect Army vehicles. He died in Hampshire on 28 May 2015.
