Major Richard Dean Russell MC (Rendlesham 1897-1901)
During WW1 he served in the Honourable Artillery Company and Royal Field Artillery. He was awarded the Military Cross (no further details). During WW2 he was in the Civil Defence and Home Guard. He died in his 101st year and was Father of the Royal Artillery Company.
