Mr Cecil James Randall MC (1908-1909)
Served in WW1 with London Regiment and was awarded Military Cross on 7 March 1918 “For conspicuous gallantry and devotion to duty. He took in hand the consolidation of an outpost line under very heavy shell fire, gathering together men of other units. He inspired all around him by his gallantry and coolness under fire.” After the war he won many races at Goodwood in the late 1920’s and early 1930’s. Click his name – he’s 2nd from left.
