Mr Frederick Gilbert Jerrey (Stradbroke 1926-1931)
He was the proprietor of Emmett’s in Peasenhall, Suffolk, a business started by his father before WW1. It became famous for its sweet pickling of Suffolk hams and was awarded a Royal Warrant by the Queen Mother in 1976. He was succeeded in the business by his son Nigel (S59).
