Aka The Archwizard of New Zealand – a most unusual OF who should probably have a category of his own! In October 1990 he had the unique honour of being appointed the first Wizard of New Zealand by the then Prime Minister of New Zealand The Right Honourable Mike Moore. In 2009 he was awarded the Queen’s Service Medal in the Queen’s Birthday Honours list and in 2015 was promoted to Archwizard.
