Mr Reginald Bowman Pattinson MC (1906-1908)

Served in WW1 in London Regiment and was awarded Military Cross on 7 November 1918 “For conspicuous gallantry and good leadership. It was largely due to this officer’s personal efforts that a heavy attack on our lines was beaten off. In the subsequent operations he commanded his company with ability, leading his men with great resolution under heavy fire and successfully capturing and consolidating the objective. Throughout the operation he displayed remarkable power of command and fine personal courage.”
