Mr Richard Broom Harland OBE (Garrett 1925-1928)

A farmer and director of a number of companies. President of Rhodesian Tobacco Association, Chairman of Tobacco Research Board of Rhodesia (1953-65) and Vice-Chairman of Tobacco Export Promotion Council (1958-64). He was awarded his OBE on 1 January 1964 for services to agriculture.
