Professor Arthur John Schofield (Ziegele 1978-1981)
After university he started working for English Heritage, remaining there for 21 years before leaving in 2010 to take up the post of Director of Studies in Cultural Heritage Management at the University of York. In October 2012 he took over as Head of Department and in July 2015 was appointed Professor with effect from October 2015.
