Professor Sir Mark Hedley DL (Garrett 1956-1965)

In a ceremony at Liverpool University in 2003, he was said to be “the epitome of a modern judge, in touch with society and its issues”. He retired from the High Court (Family Division) on 10 January 2013 and since then has been a visiting Professor of Law at Liverpool Hope University.
