Jeff Wornham killed while saving lives in Stevenage fire

The Hertfordshire Fire & Rescue Service has made the following statement about offers of donations on behalf of the two firemen:

“Hertfordshire Fire and Rescue Service have been approached by members of the community asking if they can make donations to help the firefighters’ families so we have set up a Trust Fund, which will be known as The Stevenage Firefighters’ Fund.

Donations can be made at local fire stations or, preferably, by post addressed to the Chief Fire Officer, Fire Service Headquarters, Old London Road, Hertford, Herts, SG13 7LD with cheques made payable to The Stevenage Firefighters’ Fund.”
