All Old Framlinghamians, particularly the Officers and Council Members of the Society, will be much saddened to hear of the death of Kenneth Knight (K32-38), Governor of the College (73-92), Past President (68), Trustee of the Society (68-91), Council Member since 1951 and Finance Committee (55-91). He was a wonderful supporter of all things Framlinghamian. Ken’s grandson, Simon Stacpoole (90-02), informed us that he died on Saturday 20th January.
The funeral was at St Margaret’s Church, Bolton Lane, Ipswich at 12-00 midday on Thursday 1st February. Donations if desired may be made to the Motor Neurone Disease Association – Ken’s son, Tony K63-72, died of this disease in 2002. It was only about a year ago that Ken’s wife Pat died.
