With the last seconds of injury time ticking away and the Scots heading for their first away win over England since 1938, Hancock ran a full 85 yards down the left flank to score in the corner.
Although this was not one of England’s better performances in a not very good season, Hancock’s try is still listed as one of the top ten moments of the Six Nations’ Rugby Union history.

James Ruddock-Broyd (G46-52)came across the following in a book of unusual occurrences at 151 rugby matches between 1871 and 2000. There still seems to be some dispute over the length of his run for the try!
