Moreau Scholar honours her illustrious great grandfather in Australia

Moreau Scholar JoJo Maberly (P04-17) after studying Photography, English Literature and Theatre Studies for A levels has taken a gap-year before studying filmmaking at Bristol UWE University. During her gap-year she has travelled to New Zealand and Australia. While in Australia she visited the Australian War Memorial in Canberra and laid a wreath in honour of her great grandfather, General Sir Harry Chauvel, who led the Desert Mounted Corps in North Africa in WWI and whose actions were pivotal to the success of allied forces in Palestine. More info on Chauvel can be found at https://www.chauvelfoundation.com. JoJo continues on her travels around Australia, having first spent 10 weeks travelling around New Zealand.
