Richard Sayer reports "Nearing the end of a successful career as a London solicitor OF John Wood (S56-61) has started a second career as a painter.
His work is currently on exhibition at the Aldeburgh Gallery, High Street, Aldeburgh. The exhibition blurb describes John’s work as follows:
Most weeks for the past twenty years he has studied at Central St Martin’s School of Art and The Royal Drawing School. John has used various mediums and now mostly paints in oils. His inspiration can come from anywhere and he has the ability to tackle any genre. After a stunningly successful solo exhibition in London this summer, John joins us with landscapes of the countryside around his part-time home here in Suffolk.”
Be quick as current exhibition of his work ends on 19 October 2016.
