OF Golf Society News – Cyril Gray & Halford Hewitt reports

David Turnbull reports that the OF Golf Society has been busy again with golf competititions.

Halford Hewitt : In the first round Framlingham triumph against Eastbourne at Royal Cinque Ports, Deal, winning by a margin of 3–2.  Two rookie players, Archie Winter and Jake Swinburn made their debut this year, both having left school the previous summer.  In round Two we lost 3.5 v 1.5 against Loretto, who went on to reach the semi-finals. Cyril Gray :  Framlingham were paired against Ampleforth and an extremely close match ensued.  Ampleforth moved into the next round as 2:1 winners.  The following morning, we were drawn against Brighton in the 1st round of the plate competition and won 2:1. In the afternoon we were drawn against a strong Canford team in the 2nd round of the Plate and lost 3-0. Read the full report and photos by clicking here.
