Sir Alfred Munnings KCVO PRA (1891-92)

For those of you who didn’t see it, the Sunday Telegraph dated 20 September 2009 carried a fascinating story entitled “The artist, his admirer, her husband and a hidden picture”. The story is about a painting of Munnings that has recently been found concealed behind another canvas painted by Laura Knight, an admirer. The painting of Munnings is believed to have been painted by Harold Knight, Laura’s husband.
