The Yearbook is in the mail!

UPDATE – 19 December 2005: The good news is that all material is now with the printers. What now remains is to complete the printing process and post copies of this Year’s very full magazine, which your Editor very much hopes you will enjoy

Norman Porter writes:
For those who were expecting to receive the Yearbook sooner, we apologise, but it has taken longer than expected for all the material relating to the Brandeston and College academic years to be collated and designed. It is obviously important for both schools that the Yearbook should be a complete historical record of all that has happened in the academic year. Given that we are now committed to cooperating with the College in our mutual best interests, we must respect that.

It does, however, have implications for our publishing schedule, since we have become used to an October Magazine, followed by a February Magazine, timed to anticipate the AGM and Annual Dinner. Discussions are well advanced, and will be continued at the January Council Meeting aiming at an adjustment of our schedule, leading to a pattern whereby we publish an end-of-year Yearbook and then a May/June newsletter.

For this year we have managed to insert due notice of the AGM and Dinner into the Yearbook, and urge you to read this information and to act on it, should you wish to attend our new format/new venue event in London. More detailed information (eg AGM Agenda) will be made available on the website nearer the time.

For the time being, please bear with us, and we send you all good wishes for Christmas and the New Year, even though it may be a few days yet before you can curl up with your favourite magazine.

Hon Yearbook Editor (OF Section)
