Year 12 London Careers Event – Friday 13th November 2015

ORIGINAL STORY: Jane Easey writes: We are writing to invite you to become part of a London Careers Network. Students currently in Year 12 (6th form) at the College will be visiting London on Friday 13th November for a day of careers-related experiences. They will visit a careers show at Excel in the morning, and we are hoping that the rest of the day will be an opportunity for current pupils to make contact with OFs working in London. In the evening we will be holding a reception at TrueStart in Victoria, kindly hosted by OF Matt Truman and further supported by the generosity of the SOF. We would love all our workplace hosts, plus OFs working in London, to attend as it will be a good networking opportunity and a chance to meet other OFs, current College students and members of the SOF Council and College staff. The students will gather there at 6pm and have an opportunity to chat with you about careers and work in London. Refreshments will be available.
