Young OF Golfers Shine in British University Golf Championship

In the final event, at the magnificent and immensely difficult Dundonald Links, Patrick Spraggs (Stirling University) finished 4th with a total of 295 (72, 81, 70 & 72) – in spite of the added pressure of being watched throughout his final round by the coach of the European Palmer Cup team, the team for which he gained automatic qualification by winning the R&A Foundation Scholars tournament at St. Andrews the previous week.  John Wybar (Aberdeen University) finished 6th with a total of 298 (74, 72, 75 & 77).
