John Law (Z75-83) writes: I have recently been selected as the Green Party candidate to stand in a by-election for the Sowerby and Topcliffe ward on the North Yorkshire Council Unitary Authority. The election date is November 30th. The by-election has been called due to the very serious ill health of the incumbent Green Party councillor Dave Whitfield who has had to resign on health ground.Your virtual support would be most welcome folks!!
