Cyril Gray Tournament 2024

Once again, the Tournament was played at Worplesdon in glorious sunny weather in temperatures approaching 30c.

Our 1^st round opposition on Wednesday 26 June were Berkhamsted. A fine competition ensued against convivial opponents. Watts & Atton won, Howard-Dobson & Schneidau lost and Curle and Graves won on the 21^st hole. Result 2-1

In the 2^nd round on the following day, we took on Rossall, who have a very successful record in the Cyril Gray tournament. James Brocks made his debut playing with Howard-Dobson but were unfortunately defeated, Curle & Graves could not repeat the heroics of the previous day and were also defeated. Watts & Atton although ahead in their match accepted a half. Result 0.5- 2.5

For 2024 we stayed in Guildford and enjoyed 2 convivial evenings in the old town.
