Death of Vice President of the Society

It is with much sadness that we report the death of David Mitchell (R50-57) at the age of 84.  He was a great servant of the Society and in particular the OF Golf Society where was a Past Captain.

The picture was taken in 2014 when he was part of a Society “Three Heroes” tour of France/Belgium and this picture was taken on the final night at the Menim Gate ceremony at 8pm.

David’s funeral service will be held at St Mary’s Church, Essendon, Herts AL9 6AS on Friday 23rd August at 2:30 pm and afterwards at Brickendon Golf Club, Pembridge Lane, SG13 8PD.
